Morgan Wallen is taking the stage on Saturday Night Live amid the iconic sketch comedy show’s ongoing 50th anniversary season.
Wallen will serve as the show’s musical guest on Saturday, March 29, when Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison hosts the show. SNL’s announcement on Wednesday (March 19) also shows pairings of hosts and musical guests for the upcoming shows on April 5 and April 12 (Jack Black with Elton John and Brandi Carlile, and John Hamm with Lizzo, respectively). Wallen is returning to Saturday Night Live after making his debut in 2020.
Wallen, the reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, confirmed on Friday (March 14) that his album “is officially done.” The singer-songwriter shared a sneak peek of an unreleased song he said would arrive “soon.” he also teased “more news for y’all next week.”
The teaser arrived as Wallen stirs anticipation for his upcoming studio album, following One Thing At A Time in 2023. Wallen released the title track, “I’m The Problem,” earlier this year. The single also inspired the name of Wallen’s 2025 headlining tour, which includes Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel as direct support in the rotating lineup, and Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.
