Here's a Happy Hour (aka Good News ) story, since we could all use one!
In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 66-year-old Kent Broussard recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of joining the LSU marching band after first falling in love with it as a child in 1968.
He prepared by becoming a student at the college, relearning the tuba after nearly 50 years and training his body to handle the demands of marching.
Now the band’s oldest member by decades, he proudly performed in uniform over the weekend, inspiring others to pursue their dreams regardless of age.
