President Of Mexico Shares Pic Of What He Says Is A ‘Mystical’ Woodland Elf

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador posted a photo to Twitter over the weekend showing what he said looked like an “Aluxe,” which is a mystical woodland elf in Mayan folklore. The creatures are supposed to be small, mischievous creatures in forests and fields that like to play tricks on people.

While President Lopez Obrador didn’t say when the picture was taken, the same image created a stir in 2021 after it was published by a man named Juan. At the time, many people thought the picture was of a witch. The President has expressed a fondness for indigenous cultures and beliefs in the past.
