Sammy the cat had an extra special birthday this year. The shelter cat turned 19 this month and he was thrown a birthday party. The video was shared on TikTok and quickly went viral.
Who wouldn’t love a kitty dressed up and loving the cuddles he got? Cincinnati Animal CARES shared the vid and melted hearts with the caption "His only birthday wish is a new home where he can rest his head and be showered in love.”
Sammy got his wish! A day later he went to his forever home. The pet parent had actually gotten in touch with the shelter before the video was posted and has another senior kitty for Sammy to hang with.
