Darius Rucker will guest star on tonight’s episode of CMT’s “Sun Records,” which airs at 9pm. He’ll play real-life singer Johnny Bragg of the Prisonaires.
The Prisonaires became famous in 1953 for their singing despite still being behind bars at the Tennessee State Prison in Nashville. They were best known for their doo-wop hit "Just Walkin' in the Rain.” The tune allegedly inspired a young Elvis Presley to sign with Sun Records. Check out a preview of Darius’ performance here.
- ONE MORE THING! Darius will join John Mellencamp for an episode of “CMT Crossroads” which airs tomorrow at 9pm!
