Kristen Birdsong is the lovely wife Brian Birdsong, one of the owners of several Moe's Original BBQs along the Gulf Coast. As most of you know, I'm a huge Georgia football fan and while watching one of their games at Moe's downtown a few years back, I noticed this woman rooting very LOUDLY for the Dogs. She told me her name was Kristen and that her brother, David Andrews, was the starting center for Georgia. Kristen and I became fast friends.
David went on to make several All SEC teams and was drafter in the sixth round by New England. This year he became the undisputed starting center for Tom Brady and the Patriots and after winning the Super Bowl was kind enough to join me and Shelby on 95 KSJ this afternoon.
