Carrie Underwood to release new song!

Carrie Underwood’s role with the NFL is expanding. 

The country megastar, who already is already stars in the signature open for NBC’s Sunday Night Football, will now boast the title of voice and face of Super Bowl 52. 

Carrie has been tapped to write a new song called “The Champion” for 2018’s big game. “I think it’s going to become a sports anthem,” Sunday Night Football executive producer Fred Gaudelli says. “It’s going to be one of those songs that you see cut to highlights for the next 25 years.” 

And Carrie’s husband, former Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher, approves, too!“He would listen to it before playoff games,” Carrie says, “He was like ‘I want everyone to hear it!’ and I had to tell him, ‘You can’t do that. You can’t play it in the locker room. I’m sorry.’ But that was a good indicator that we were on the right track.”
