Keith Urban's new music 'not necessarily' coming soon

Keith Urban is in no rush to release new music. 

The country superstar reveals in an interview with The Morning Call newspaper in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he is “working toward new music” but makes no promises on when it will be released.“

People always think music is looming anytime soon, which it’s not necessarily,” Keith says. “It’s that making records is a process for me, and it can either come quick or take an enormously long time.”

“The Fighter” singer adds he re-entered the studio in January once his touring cycle finished. Through “writing and recording a little bit,” Keith has found a few songs that are special to him, but he’s not sure if they’ll turn into records. 

Keith’s latest album Ripcord, which was one of his most experimental to date, has officially been certified Platinum.
