Man! American Idol may have just found its woman.
Shania Twain threw her name into the ring as a potential judge for the ABC reboot of the one-time Fox juggernaut in a new interview with Access Hollywood, revealing sheâs had conversations with producers about joining the show.
âWeâve talked back and forth and it is something that I think I would enjoy,â she says. âI love the whole experience of being with like-minded people who appreciate amazing, upcoming talent. I think that would be a lot of fun... It would be something that I would like to say yes to.â
The âSwinging with My Eyes Closedâ singer previously mentored on Idol in 2009 and enjoyed âthe whole mentorship concept.â
So far only Katy Perry has been confirmed to sit on the showâs new judging panel, while names like Lionel Richie, Charlie Puth, Luke Bryan and former judge Keith Urban are said to be front-runners to join Katy on the revival.
Word is Idol will announce its judges by September.
