Music streams equal money streams for Taylor Swift. The one-time country phenomenon will reportedly bring in an estimated $397,000 from one week of streaming her music on services like Spotify, Amazon Music and Pandora. According to Nielson music (via Billboard), Taylor’s songs were streamed 47.5 million times in their first week back on the sites, representing a 551 percent jump from the 7.3 million streams her songs were previously generating on Apple Music one week earlier. Taylor put her music back on Spotify and the other streaming services last week as a token of appreciate to her fans for buying 10 million copies worldwide of her 1989 album and to mark the RIAA’s 100 million song certification announcement.
