Taylor Swift may not have left her country roots too far behind. The pop megastar is reportedly in Nashville writing and recording new music for her rumored sixth studio album, and a source tells Entertainment Tonight the tunes could be country. Taylor was spotted last weekend driving around Nashville, the source confirming Taylor is staying in Tennessee to “get away from the paparazzi.” Taylor left the country genre to release her highly successful 1989 album in October 2014. Since then, the "Tim McGraw" singer has gone on to win Grammys and tour the globe on her 1989 World Tour.
No official word on a new album or its genre just yet.
