Carrie Underwood sings “Smoke Break,” and she’s about to take a break of her own. The country superstar told the People/Entertainment Weekly Network at the Grammys her current to-do list “is kind of a blank space.”
“I’m really excited about that, because you don’t know where you’re going to go,” Carrie added. “I’m nervous because I want whatever I do next to be amazing, so I’m kind of taking a little break right now ... I’m kind of waiting for lightning to strike and go: ‘Okay, it’s time to get creative and work on new music!’”Before the lightning and Carrie’s next big bang, she plans to cheer on husband Mike Fisher and his Nashville Predators hockey team.
“I’m like: ‘Yeah! Get ’em!’ ” Carrie says of participating in games. “I’m screaming at the TV, or if I’m there I’m screaming and yelling at the refs. It’s good. I’m in it!” Carrie is currently featured on Keith’s Urban’s new single “The Fighter.”
