Lady Antebellum shot to stardom thanks to a little record called Need You Now back in 2010.Seven years later, the country super group are attempting to recreate the magic that won them three Grammys.
Lady A’s Charles Kelley tells People magazine the trio owes their fresh yet familiar Now sound producer busbee, the man behind huge albums like Maren Morris’s Hero and Keith Urban’s Ripcord.“If you feel a fresh different sound to this record, that’s from working with busbee,” Charles says. “He got us out of our comfort zone. When we started, he goes, ‘Not to put down any of your other records...but I want to make a follow-up to Need You Now.’ He is a very strong, opinionated leader in the studio. He will listen to your opinions but he will fight you on stuff.”Lady Antebellum’s new single “You Look Good” is at country radio now, and their forthcoming sixth studio alum Heart Break is set to drop June 9.
