Eric Church is mourning the loss of his little brother.
Brandon Church passed away Friday (June 29) after reportedly suffering multiple seizures.
The family confirmed the death in an official statement.
"It is with great sadness that the Church family confirms that Eric's brother, Brandon, passed away Friday evening," the statement reads. "In lieu of flowers, please leave a message for the family and/or make a donation to a Scholarship Memorial Fund created in Brandon's memory."
The scholarship fund has raised more than $25,000 in just one week.
"This loving memorial is set up to honor Brandon E. Church, beloved son, brother, father and friend," the memorial fun website reads. "In lieu of flowers, please pay forward a gift that will keep on giving to others through furthering their education. The Brandon E. Church Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to bless others and honor a benevolent life. Thank you for showing your love and support to the Church family."
Mr. Church is survived by his daughter, McKenzie Anne Church. He was 36.
