he holiday season has officially begun. For many, this means dinner parties and gatherings hosted by your family and friends.

This time of the year is meant to be jolly but for some, it can be stressful. What’s appropriate to say around your family? How do you avoid the uncle who has different political views?

Crystal Bailey, director of the Etiquette Institute of Washington, says there are five easy tips you can follow to make sure you don’t run into any trouble at a holiday party.
