WASHINGTON (Circa) — MSNBC is receiving heat this week when one of their camera crews blocked a disabled veteran trying to vote.
James Berrie posted on Facebook from Houston a photo of the camera crew blocking in "the only van accessible spot" at the polls. He said they did not move when they were asked and it took another person to walk through their shot for them to move.
He emphasized that "handicap spots are not loading zones for gear and equipment." As a Texas voter, he also mentioned that with the election being so covered, he wanted the media to be aware of their error.
Mariana Atencio, the MSNBC correspondent who was on camera in the live shot, tweeted an apology from the crew.
