Severe weather could be heading our way


Take a closer look at the damage it has already caused as it is heading this way.

A barrage of small hail up to half an inch diameter came down 20 miles north of Midland, TX.

Parts of Texas saw heavy rain and flooding yesterday morning.

That storm system that has already dumped plenty of rain in Texas has flooded roads in Louisiana as it continues to move east.

Wednesday afternoon neighbors in monroe were clearing storm drains to slow down rising waters.

Across the area high winds knocked over trees, debris blocked traffic and high waters flooded roads.

Houses are smothered in trees.

Some homeowners describing it as a loud boom knocking their power out. .

The heavy rainfall and threat of flash flooding continues into today.  

Parts of Louisiana and the south east are expecting up to six inches of rain leading into the weekend.

Tornado touched down in Yazoo County ripping the roof off one home, damaging at least another.

Trees down toppled across multiple roads in many areas blocking off driveways.
