5th Annual LIP SYNC BATTLE Thurs 7pm, Soul Kitchen, Downtown Mobile

This event is no ordinary talent show; it's a full-scale production featuring six teams who are taking the stage to compete for the Champion title. Judges score the teams based on their lip-syncing ability, creativity, stage presence, crowd appeal, and fundraising efforts. Come #PartyforaPurpose at this unforgettable fundraising event that directly impacts local children. Fuse Project is raising money for The Historic Avenue Foundation: all event proceeds will be used to expand education, community wellness, and housing opportunities in the Avenue.  CLICK HERE   

36th Annual AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CHILI COOK-OFF - Sat 11am-3pm, Canal Street (between Washington and Broad), Downtown Mobile

Teams are cooking up their best chili recipes and you get to try them all! The American Cancer Society’s Mobile Chili Cook-off is fun for the whole family, with live music, a Kids Corner, and LOTS of chili! All funds will support local cancer centers providing much-needed rides to treatment and lodging to their patients.  CLICK HERE   

BUBBLES & BRUNCH 0.5K - Sat 8:30am, Bluegill Restaurant, Battleship Parkway, Spanish Fort

Get ready for the most fun (and shortest) race of your life! This Brunch & Bubble Run is a family-friendly event where participants of all ages will dash, stroll, or dance their way through a bubbly 0.5K course—just half a kilometer! Along the way, racers will be showered in clouds of floating bubbles, making for a magical and laughter-filled experience. TOUCH A TRUCK - Sat 10am-2pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

TOUCH A TRUCK is a family friendly event that offers children (& adults too) a hands-on opportunity to explore a variety of trucks & meet the people who build, protect & serve our community. Children will be allowed to climb aboard and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe environment. This fundraiser will benefit both Rapahope & Adoption Rocks. CLICK HERE  

ELBERTA SAUSAGE FESTIVAL- Sat 8am-5pm, Elberta Town Park, Elberta, AL

Elberta firefighters are cooking up 6000 pounds of German sausage this Saturday, the highlight of this festival. But there’s also over 200 arts & crafts booths, carnival rides, and lots of music– polka, country, contemporary and German music. Proceeds benefit the Elberta Fire Department and the Town of Elberta.  CLICK HERE

Pensacola native and Nashville Symphony Orchestra Principal Oboist Titus Underwood returns home to perform Richard Strauss’ Oboe Concerto. All proceeds from the Saints Run support the Chad Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund, to promote a drug and alcohol-free healthy lifestyle. The fund was established in memory of Chad Saucier, Class of 1993, who tragically lost his life in a hazing incident as a freshman in college. CLICK HERE
