LIVING HISTORY CREW DRILL- Sat 8am-3pm, USS Alabama Battleship, Mobile
Historical reenactors, dressed in WWII period Navy uniforms, will be aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM demonstrating what life aboard ship was like during wartime.
The big event of the day happens at 1:00 p.m. when “Call to Battle Stations” is sounded. Grab a spot on the bow of the USS ALABAMA and watch as enemy aircraft fly over and attack the ship. Spectators will be able to take in the whole experience while the crew fires the ship’s 20mm guns. Planes fly based on weather and mechanical safety. CLICK HERE

Visit any time from 1 - 5 p.m. and enjoy free admission into the History Museum of Mobile and Colonial Fort Conde. On view: The Global Language of Headwear (last day to view exhibition is 06/07/2024). This traveling exhibition features 87 hats and headdresses from 42 countries.
