47th Annual NATIONAL SHRIMP FESTIVAL - Fri/Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 10am-5pm, Public Beach, Gulf Shores

A decision has been made to delay the opening of the 47th Annual National Shrimp Festival to Friday, because of Hurricane Michael...so the Festival will be 3 days, instead of the usual 4.  

You’ll find shrimp just about any way you want it, plus a great variety of seafood and non-seafood favorites. Plus a great music lineup… including the Tip Tops and Johnny Hayes & the Love Seats on Friday; Velcro Pygmies and Joe Diffie on Saturday.  CLICK HERE    


LEX AND TERRY RIDE TO ReCONNECT POKER RUN - Sat 8:30am-10am registration, Harley-Davidson of Pensacola 6385 Pensacola Blvd

The ride starts at Pensacola Harley and ends at The World Famous Flora-Bama. You’ll have plenty of time to hang with TK101’s Lex, Terry, Dee & Sarah!  This ride benefits Operation ReConnect a local organization that supports Combat Veterans and their families by giving them the gift of time to reconnect after deployment.  CLICK HERE    


THRILLER NIGHTS OF LIGHTS -  Every night (rain or shine) through Oct 31, 7pm-10pm, Hank Aaron Stadium, Mobile

Thriller Nights of Lights is a family-friendly drive-thru light show synchronized to music playing through your car radio. Displays of giant spiders, spooky eyes, friendly ghosts, and tumbling scarecrows are just a few of the displays to see dancing to a fun variety of music.  CLICK HERE   


TOWN OF TERROR: CIRCUS ASYLUM- Fri/Sat 6pm-11pm; Sun 6pm-9pm; Halloween Night 6pm-10pm, Downtown OWA (outside amusement park gates), Foley

This year’s Town of Terror theme is Circus Asylum. They came, they performed… and they never left. These forgotten acts have become possessed and taken over Downtown OWA.

MOBILE FIRE-RESCUE FALL 2018 FIRE SAFETY EXPO- Fri 9am-1pm, Medal of Honor Park, Mobile

GRILLED CHEESE MELTDOWN- Thurs 5:30pm-7:30pm, Cathedral Square, downtown Mobile

Teams will be competing to create the yummiest grilled cheese sandwich in the 2nd Annual Mobile Grilled Cheese Meltdown! Two categories, twenty teams, 40 delicious sandwiches to sample...
