Feeding The Gulf Coast Food Distribution for 1,000 Families

Feeding the Gulf Coast along with Winn-Dixie to Provide Fresh Food Boxes to Over 1,000 Families at Hank Aaron Stadium With Winn-Dixie Pharmacy COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

Mobile, Ala. – On May 22, Feeding the Gulf Coast along with Winn-Dixie and the Mobile Sports & Entertainment Group will distribute food boxes including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products to include yogurt, milk and cheese; and meat to more than 1,000 individuals and families at Hank Aaron Stadium. Additionally, Winn-Dixie Pharmacy will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for individuals interested in receiving a vaccine.

The distribution will operate in a drive-through style to minimize contact for both recipients and volunteers. Pre-registration is not required; food will be distributed first-come, first-served beginning at 9:00 a.m and ending at 11:00 a.m. or once all food has been distributed. Adults will need to present a form of identification. The vaccination clinic is optional and is not required to receive food.

For individuals and families experiencing hunger, we encourage them to use the "Find Help" feature available on our website at www.feedingthegulfcoast.org. Individuals can also call our office at (888) 704-FOOD and our staff can help connect those seeking assistance with distribution partners closest to them.
