When 93-year-old Thomas Kemp was a teenager, he started riding motorcycles. And, as a young man, he served in World War II for the British Army.
But as he got older, he had to quit riding his bikes -- until now.
Thomas found a custom scooter while shopping in his hometown that reminded him of one of his favorite bikes -- so now he gets around on a new mobility scooter that looks just like a Harley-Davidson.
The scooter has big handlebars, big wheels and a 30-mile range. There’s also lots of black and lots of chrome.
Thomas says the new scooter makes him feel like he’s 43 years old again and that he’s “still full of energy.” Thomas says “moaning and groaning is a waste of time" in his book. (Bournemouth Echo)
