If you are anything like me, you get home now and turn on Netflix to only say 200 times back and forth with your family "what do you want to watch?", "I don't know, you pick". Well, yesterday, I got home, popped on Netflix and squealed a little bit! There was no questioning it...SUPERMARKET SWEEP..the old ones..ON NETFLIX NOW!! We watched 3 episodes pre-dinner and two during. My kid (13) even said "mom, this show would still hold up today. I kinda want to be on it!". ME TOO, KID!! Apparently ABC has ordered a 10 episode reboot hosted by SNL Alum, Leslie Jones, but I think production was delayed due to Covid.
Either way, if you want some nostalgia and an immediate grin, SUPERMARKET SWEEP is on Netflix NOW! ENJOY!!
