Cavender’s Western Outfitter Opens in Spanish Fort, AL

The Cavender family announces the opening of their newest location in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

The 14,790 sq. ft. store will house Cavender’s full line of men’s, women’s and children’s western apparel. Cavender’s is famous for its large selection of handcrafted western boots and also carries hats, shirts, jeans, dresses, belts, plus western accent accessories. Customers can find all of the top western wear brands such as Wrangler, Ariat, Justin, Lucchese, Cinch, Resistol, Stetson, Twisted X and private label brands, Rafter C and Cavender’s by Old Gringo. This is third store in Alabama, there are also locations in Hoover and Huntsville.

The store will be located at 32000 Bass Pro Drive and is located just off of I-10.

The company is a family owned and operated retailer out of Tyler, Texas with 84 stores located across 12 states. Cavender’s is truly a family operation, founded by James R. Cavender and his wife in 1965.Today, their sons Joe, Mike and Clay run the day-to-day operations. The family lives the western lifestyle, operating five working ranches in Texas and Oklahoma with registered Brangus and Charolais cattle. Cavender’s has become the leading western store for the American South and Southwest. Joe Cavender, President of Cavender’s says the company anticipates a great response from the Spanish Fort community.
