AUBURN PLAYER FAKES INJURY AND THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME

The Auburn defense played their hearts out on Saturday in their 23-20 loss at LSU. That is until one of the defenders decided his team needed to catch their breath. Actually it appeared that defensive end Big Kat Bryant wasn't completely improvising his flop on his own, but got some sort of signal from the bench to hit the deck, and so that is what he did. While the referees didn't catch it, the CBS cameras did. And quite frankly, it looked horrible for Auburn.

So here is my question: do all teams fake injuries? Gus Malzahn likes to occasionally speed up his offense's tempo, so I' would guess it has happened TO them. I do know this. Malzahn coached teams do have a history of this hokey strategy as you can see from this clip from 2013. Not to be a wise guy here, but maybe the first line of the fight song should be changed from "War Eagle fly down the field" to "War Eagle lie on the field."
