One person is dead and seven injured after Josh Turner’s tour bus crashed early this morning in San Luis Obispo County, California.
The bus left Vina Robles Amphitheater after Turner ‘s concert. The eight people on board were part of Turner's crew. The country and gospel singer and his band were not on the bus. Firefighters said the driver left the roadway and plunged down an embankment. The cause isn’t yet known.
One person died, two were airlifted out with major injuries and the other five passengers had moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to the hospital. The CHP is investigating.
Josh was just in Mobile for the Greater Gulf State Fair last year, and an appearance at Cracker Barrel. The line of folks to see him was wrapped around the building, by the way. He is much loved by KSJ Country so we are glad he is okay, but we are thinking of and praying for the families of everyone involved in this terrible accident.
