While some people may turn to a friend or a pet for emotional support, a New Zealand man took things to a new level when he brought a clown to work.
Joshua Jack received an email from his employer letting him know that a meeting was being held to discuss his future with the company and that he could bring a friend or family member along for support. Who better to help lift his spirits than someone whose job it is to do just that?
Jack paid a clown more than $100 to accompany him at the meeting and sit beside him making balloon animals while his bosses fired him. But there's a happy ending to this story. Jack has already gotten another job, with a competing company. (New Zealand Herald)
