Salvation Army in Mobile will feed 1,000+

THE SALVATION ARMY PREPARING FOR THANKSGIVING DINNERCalling for Community Food Donations

 MOBILE, AL (November 20, 2018) – The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama is gearing up for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner. It’s a traditional hot turkey and ham meal, served to ANYONE who would otherwise go without Thanksgiving Day.

Chef Cecil Morris and his staff prepare to feed 1,000 people each year. It takes a week of preparation and nearly 100 volunteers to serve our restaurant-style meal!The meal will be served from 11am-3pm at The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama Area Command, 1009 Dauphin Street. Below is a list of the foods still needed for the Thanksgiving Dinner. Please help us spread the word, so that we can feed those in need!

The Salvation Army relies on the generous donations from our community to make the Thanksgiving Dinner possible.
