Congratulations to Brett Young and his longtime love Taylor Mills on their engagement.
Brett popped the question earlier this month in Oxford, Mississippi, where he went to school at Ole Miss.
He tells People, “We met in Arizona while she was at school at ASU, and we will likely get married there, so I thought it would be romantic to propose where I went to school."
Brett and Taylor known each other for 10 years, but dated for about six. They took a break when he moved to Nashville. He says there was never bad blood, just bad timing.
Brett gave Taylor a custom ring designed with their initials.

Brett's been pretty low key about his love life, but I did get a chance to chat with him last year when he was here for a Guitar-B-Q appearance at Moe's Original BBQ (downtown Mobile), and he told me that before every single show, he called his girlfriend. How sweet! ~Shelby
