Over The Edge Mobile

90 PEOPLE can check rappelling down 20 stories off their bucket list come Spring 2018.

The event will take place Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10, 2018 at the Mobile Marriott located on Airport Boulevard in Mobile, Alabama.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $1,000 to support the charitable efforts of The 74 Club and Dennis Langan Construction. Net proceeds are donated to local non-profits and individuals in need.  Past beneficiaries include Camp Smile, McKemie Place, Mobile ARC, St. Mary's Home, The Family Center, and The Shriners Children's Transportation Fund, to name a few.

"Over the Edge" gives participants the opportunity to help the less fortunate in our area AND experience the thrill of rappelling over 200 feet while friends, family, and the community watch,” said Randy Copeland, board member of The 74 Club. Local celebrities and media personalities are scheduled to rappel on Friday, March 9; our main event will take place the following day. The first ninety individuals who raise a minimum of $1,000 have the opportunity to participate, but you must register first to secure a spot. The minimum can be raised through any combination of donations and must be conducted through the secure and safe online system provided here on the site. Don’t delay! Register as a rappeller or consider a donation to a rappeller. Your support helps The 74 Club and Dennis Langan Construction assist the needy in our community. We appreciate your support!

ALL DONATIONS ARE 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Jake Coker, former winning quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide, will join us on March 10 from 10 am to noon to sign autographs.
