Putting Iowa's 55-24 trampling of Ohio State in perspective, the Buckeyes came in as a true national power with a 7-1 record and an impressive comeback win against Penn State a week ago. They were staring at a path back to the College Football Playoff because, after all, they're Ohio State. Iowa entered a pedestrian 5-3, including recent losses at Michigan State and Northwestern. Their home win last week was a mighty struggle against Minnesota. Add to all of that, Ohio State had beaten the Hawkeyes 13 of the last 14 meetings including the last 5 in a row. OSU was a 17 point favorite. So what in the world happened? After the game, Urban Meyer had no clue.
