What if? What if South Alabama would beat Ole Miss in the season opener? Well, that would be very cool, but can it happen? One one hand, Ole Miss has plenty of talent returning, especially on offense. On the other hand, South has their deepest and most talented roster to date. South is senior led with what appears to be solid leadership in place while Ole Miss...who knows? They were on the down slide finishing out 20016, the NCAA has been sniffing around for months and suddenly their head coach resigns. None of that is good for team morale.
