I was born in Marianna, Florida and raised in Dothan, Alabama. My grandfather, Farley Taylor had a nationally-syndicated radio show called "The Old Taylor Made Opry". So I fell in love with classic country music and the magic of radio at a very young age.
From as early as age 8, I would sit in my room with my turntable and listen intently to my records. I intently studied the music of George Jones, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., Merle Haggard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon, and Jimmie Rodgers. That love of country music has continued all the way down to today, and my early musical influences can be heard in my own musical style.
You can hear me every weekday afternoon from 3-7pm. I'm also heavily involved in serving our community, fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, serving on the board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend, and serving on the Executive Events Committee for the American Cancer Society.
I'm also a musician, singer, songwriter, and I have an acoustic string band called Old Soul Revival that plays classic country and bluegrass.
